With over 20 hives located in Centreville, Virginia and the new addition of a few hives at the Catoctin Beach Farm in Purcellville, VA, our apirary specializes in varietal honey by following the various nectar flows and making frequent honey extractions to take advantage of the various flavors the different nectars produce. This makes our honey the best of the best; and there truly is no other like it.
Tagg A. Timm started TT's Bees in 2020 with his daughters and just a couple hives in his backyard. He began by taking an introduction to beekeeping class through Cornell University's Small Farms program. Tagg and one of his daughters then took Michigan State University's 8-month Heroes to Hives program, both receiving their certificates upon completion. He slowly expanded, sharing his love of beekeeping with his family and friends. They have grown their local apiary to over 20 hives. Tagg's passion for making honey is equal to his devotion to teaching others about the unique and fascinating lives of bees. Tagg tries to pass on his knowledge by serving as a mentor to new beekeepers. Tagg and his family truly have a passion for all things bees, and they even enjoy going out to capture honey bee swarms and relocating them to ensure they have a safe place to live. This helps ensure these important pollinating insects are available to pollinate crops to keep food on everyone's tables.
